Spanish Property

Do you want to live on the beach in Spain

From a €275,000 beachside base to a €1.1 million sea-view apartment, here are three properties to get your Spanish home search started.

Which would be your morning coffee spot?

There’s something lovely about the idea of stepping outside and having the beach right there. If that’s on your Spanish wish list, these three advertised properties offer a starting point at three different prices. We’ve looked at Alicante and Valencia provinces, both within the Valencian Community, with one simple brief: a first-line beach location.

The details below come from public sale listings researched on 31 October 2026. Asking prices and availability can change, and every feature needs confirming before you make plans. These are ideas for your shortlist; we haven’t inspected the properties.

€275,000 — a beachside base in Playa de San Juan, Alicante

Looking for somewhere manageable for two? This one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment on Avenida de Niza is advertised with 53 m² built, on the third floor with a lift. The beachfront development has a communal pool, and the apartment has a terrace.

Here’s a detail worth paying attention to: the listing describes the terrace as looking over the development. Being in a first-line beach complex doesn’t automatically mean a sea view from your own living room. If proximity to the sand matters more than a panoramic outlook, this could be worth a closer look.

€340,000 — two bedrooms in Racó, Cullera, Valencia

For a little more room, this renovated apartment in the Racomar building is advertised at 70 m² built, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s on the first floor with a lift, with an open-plan kitchen and living space leading to a terrace with sea views.

The advertised beachfront complex includes a communal swimming pool, tennis courts and a children’s play area. That gives you a few things to enjoy without going far. Ask about the annual community charges and how the facilities operate through the seasons when you arrange a viewing.

€1,100,000 — a terrace facing the Mediterranean in Alicante

At the top of this selection is a sixth-floor apartment in the Voy Voy beachfront development in Playa de San Juan. The advertisement lists two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sea-view terrace, a lift, communal pool and a parking space included in the asking price.

It quotes 130 m² built and 70 m² of floor area, so ask for the plans and a clear breakdown of the measurements. The attraction here is easy to picture: room to sit outside and take in the sea. A viewing will help you judge the outlook, layout and terrace for yourself.

Enjoy the search — and take independent legal advice

Please instruct an independent Spanish lawyer before signing a reservation agreement, paying a deposit or committing to a purchase. Choose someone who represents your interests alone and can explain the paperwork in a language you understand. An attractive view is a lovely reason to book a viewing; the legal checks deserve just as much attention.

Ask your lawyer to check ownership, registered debts, planning and occupancy documentation, community liabilities and the full purchase costs. For a beachfront home, specifically ask about the Ley de Costas and any coastal boundaries, restrictions or concessions affecting the property. Arrange an appropriate survey too. This article is general information and cannot replace advice on a particular purchase.

Tell us what your Spanish home looks like

Would you choose a compact beachside base, an extra bedroom for visitors, or a terrace with the sea in front of you? Send Move to Spain Property a WhatsApp with your preferred area, budget and must-haves, and we’ll help you explore the options. Our property-finding service costs you nothing and comes with no obligation.

The asking prices above are not an all-in purchase budget: allow for taxes, legal fees and other transaction costs, and have any additional charges confirmed in writing. We can also refer you to an English-speaking Spanish lawyer; you remain free to choose your own independent adviser.
